Thread: Mid day line stretching

I took Micky's son and grandson fishing today. We did not go till way up in the day because of weather and their long drive to get here. They released about as many as they kept and really released quite a few bigger than many kept. They were just having too much fun. Really nice folks and expect to see them again real soon.

NIMROD they will be a lot less cats in the lake the way you are catching them good job. We are catching some at lake hinkle.

I bet the water level is dropping like crazy over there. Another good job on snatching out some big cats. Let me remind you that catfish fillets are over 5 bucks a pound and won't eat near as good as those. WOW!

Another good mess!

You the man Nimrod, took a friend out on Norfork midday after the rain yesterday. Been throwing feed out all week caught one fiddler all week. Set up 25 to 30 ft. water big tree top with channel swing right up to bluff. This is the third spot baited, no luck. Been fishing after work 6:30 till dark. Going to keep trying till I find the cats.

Try baiting shallower off drop off next to shallow flats.

On those upland res. I find the cats like to get right in the thurmocline and suspend with the other fish.
