    Default Fishing Reports

After thinking about it for over a year I've decided to start posting daily trip reports on my website. Although they will be from Greeson, Hamilton or DeGray (yea, we're working on condos and hope to start guiding there soon) they may be helpful for folks that fish other lakes in the state, especially if they haven't been on the water in a while. Other than what we caught, how deep, bait used, water temp and any changes in water level is there anything else that y'all can think of that would be helpful - other than GPS coordinates of course!?

The link is at the top of my “Pictures From Recent Trips” page -

We had another pretty good morning today in spite of a little breeze:

Looks good to me! That gives everyone access to an excellent fishing log without all of the work. The use of those daily reports will help folks all over the state, allowing them to follow patterns, water temps, etc. Thanks Jerry, that is a great addition to your site (and my arsenal!).

On another note, I am going to be severly disappointed if y'all catch all of the crappie out of Greeson before CC.:D

Looks good brother!!! Most fishing reports folks get from online, newspapers and magazines are out of date by the time they're published. Yours is realtime and current.

Like Darryl said most of the fishing reports we get are old info given by who knows who. The one they give for Ouachita I think comes from a rubber stamp cause it dont change much. I think this is great for us guys that dont get to fish every day to keep up with how things are going on the water. Now Jerry if you could just start nightstalking and keep me posted on the night bite that would help me a bunch in this time of year when I am torn between fishing and hunting.

    See you at Crappie Camp

Great catch! The Crappie are still slow mostly on Nimrod. Caught a few yesterday. It was cold this morning (42 degrees )! I took a friend out to show where to fish a Bass tournament. It was slow fishing behind the cold front.Started off foggy and then got bad windy here. We landed 9 keepers 1 to 3.5 lbs. each . They were hitting short , ones on crankbaits were on rear hook. I'm ready for the fall Crappie bite to start anytime. Not a really into Bass (green carp )fishing anymore.:D
