The river is down so the fish will be trapped so maybe a loser can catch a fish.

I'm guessing that river changed up a bit after all that water recently? I used to catfish over there with my grandpa. Never crappie fished it but it was loaded with cats I remember and snakes! I know a local guy who had leased land along the river over there that lost everything he had over there when the water got up....tractor, trailer, hay rake, and several bails of hay all washed down river. I don't know if he's gotten any of it back yet or not. There's no telling how far it went down river. Good luck over there.

You mean Faye, and Roy....if so yes. Made a many of a trip walking up those snakey banks over there with a sack of livers and a pole. Oh, and the skeeters, lets not forget them, they were aggressive too.

I have set a lot of limb lines never seen a snake but was not looking. If you look for snakes you will not bait the hooks.

22 pistol with rat shot works pretty darn good for the slithering, slimy, serpents...that's if you see em in time and if you don't see em in time you may be cleaning out your drawers after you nearly hurt yourself trying to get away from it.
