    Default Lake Norfork

Does anybody fish this lake regularly? Been wanting to fish it for a while now. I plan on spider rigging. Does anybody know how many poles you are allowed? And how is the crappie fishing. Also plan on doing some catfishing. I will probably throw out some jugs. Any info would be great. Thanks

Norfork is not much of a crappie lake. Very clear and deep with very little brush and structure It s a good bass lake. It does have some good catfish in it and jug fishing is a good way to go. try to find a cove to get away from the ski boats.

I have a friend of mine that owns a house at Norfork. He catches lots of crappie there spider rigging the cedar trees in back of some of the feeder creeks, and coves.

My bet would be around the middle to upper end of the lake... also look for blue signs with white fish on them on the banks. The Game & Fish folks mark brush piles to indicate the location of structure and submerged brush piles. Because the lake is so clear, try it early or late in the evening.

    Good Luck
