HAHA!!!! This thread reminds me of a time below Conway Dam on Parlarm Creek several years ago. We were tossing the yellow bass on the banks when a younger and older Game Warden approached us. The younger Game Warden asked? "why are you guys wasting game fish throwing the Yellow Bass up on the banks"? The answer was simple...We replied because We Hate yellow bass and the Older Game Warden told us too toss em on the banks last week... Awkward Game Warden moment. I like the older Game Warden Better and he saved us a ticket. A true story. HAHA!!!

They are an unwanted fish by the most of us. They give a good fight. I've caught 4 on a 6 jig rig. Got a picture if I could get to it. I never caught a big one unless big is little. Mostly dig a hole on the flowerbed for them.
Never ate one, all I know is they'll eat all your minners if you let em....
Knock in head with your needle nose pliers and throw back to feed turtles or fish eating birds!
Personally, I dont throw them on the bank, but I dont fault anyone who chooses to do so. Those things can really burn through some minners fast when you get into em.
