    Default River fish

Been looking for some new water to target. I know the river is high now but when it goes down what are some structure on the river to target or crappie this time of year? Ive never done any river fishing much except for cats and any pointers is helpful. Been wanting to chase river crappie for a while but didnt know where to begin

Look for any type structure that has a current break behind it,does not have to be a big break in current, from the size of basket ball and bigger. The inside and outside eddies in the blend of the river....

We catch alot crappie on the south side of the river around the mouths of big and liitle maumelle rivers. mostly in the winter and early spring, but they should still be there close. Be carefull, river is dangerous right now. Good luck.
