Just joined the site but have looked over the forums for a long time. Also I have a question, when you are trolling crankbaits what is your typical speed?

About 1.7 will do just fine. Here is a link to 137 pages of everything you will ever need to know about crank baits for crappie. http://www.crappie.com/crappie/missi...nks-101-a.html

Welcome from Greers Ferry Lake. You can pull bandits anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 but 1.7-2.0 seem to work the best.

Welcome from West Memphis, Home of Big River Marine.

I agree, 1.7 is the best average speed for me.

Welcome from Dequeen lake and be sure and post pics of your catch, we all love seeing a big pile of slabs when someone catches them. There's a thread somewhere on here showing how to post but the way I do it is take the pic with my phone cam then send it to my email, then save it. Next start a post on here, hit the insert image thing and download it that way.
