The body of Scott County Sheriff Cody Carpenter has been found after a major flooding event in Scott County, according to Arkansas Game and Fish spokesman Keith Stephens.
A hero died last night. Prayers to his family and friends for comfort and understanding. Us members of the military get a lot of thanks and respect for what we do but those sheriffs and deputies that work in their communities to keep the citizens safe on the home front deserve just as many thanks and more for caring after us all everyday.
