went to houge sat., every dang gewber that unloaded came to the far side of the lake and proceded to run half trim/half throttle 20 yds off the bank just to wash me up on the bank and keep me from catching any bream, and then go out to the middle and fish ! what was I thinking goin to a local lake on a holliday wk.end,,,,,, I dunno !! what was they thinkin,,,, also dunno but I did lash out at a couple of em askin if they thought they could get any closer ..... what I learned you ask ? many inbreed on said lake on wk end.... Monday I decided to go to reelfoot and try my hand at it because the lake is much bigger and this should disperse of so much stewpiddity................wrong ... unloaded the boat got in and putting on ol' lifejackie and BAM a couple ol timers back their boat right out on top of me breaking the transducer of the foot of the trolling motor.... and nearly taking the boat under !! wow all I could do to keep my tounge in my head.... what I remember you ask ?these ol' timers was out here to fish just like I was and probably couldn't see past the hood of the truck or rear bumper for that matter, and also that they could have possibly have fought for my and their freedom to go fishin long before I was a thought in this world !! was I happy ...no but I told em not to worry. proceded to go catch a few bream and had a decent day !! now if you got to here and are still readin this... know anybody that has a hummingbird transducer bracket for sale ??? p.m. me please p.m. me

I think you handle it better the I would have.
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.

I was on Lake Hogue for 9 hours Saturday with my boys and my Dad. We caught a ton of crappie and kept 32 with six nice ones including a 15" male and a 14.5" female.

We tried the bream for about an hour or so but went back to the crappie. The bream just didn't seem to be doing much.

Too bad we didn't know you were there, I would have enjoyed meeting you.
    Is winter over yet?
