    Wife and I fished last Thursday
    Caught 20 or so brought home 16. They were in 1-2 ft of water fished 11/2 down on crickets tried worms and they didn't want um fished out of Dix in the main lake to the south then crossed to the West Bank and fished the cove there. I thought that they were bedding up but none had eggs.
    I am going to take our 9yr old out this Thursday.

    I've never seen Bream turn down worms and bite crickets. Most bedded fish on the average will be males. Before the rise we were catching lots of Bream bedded on Nimrod but smaller than last year. I think all the fresh water and crazy weather has the Bream everywhere a little off normal.

    Good luck with your 9 year old fishing. Bed have been a little hard to find this year. But when I have it been a gold mine

    Caught 33 Saturday Adams creek landing area. Every single one a male and full of "p" when you sqeezed em. Was wondering myself where the females are.

    Livz2fish I am going to try again some time tomorrow. It will be a
    good time to spend with her she doesn't get the attention she
    deserves from me with my so called busy life so it will be a good time no matter tthe outcome
    tight lines to all.

    They didn't want to bite for us Monday at Dix ....til we pulled our bobbers off and drug it through their beds....ended up with 22 biguns
