    I was actually running some 16's out the side. Of course the butt end of the rod and the position of the transducer would need to be nearly the same, and they were. Name:  answer.jpg

Size:  39.8 KB The text that was in red that you can't read was stating that the long squiggly sonar return was from the egg sinker on a 2 hook CnC rig. Math has the length at 15 feet which is pretty close.

    I was gonna guess 8', because Carol told me you got some 16 footers, and I figure with you paying so much attention to the graph and getting pics and what not, you got too close to the tree that was 16' to your left, and snapped the front pole in half. There's my answer, and I explained why.
