Thread: Who's Got a Good Crappie Recipe....???

Darryl and Jerry both have some good recipies on there sites. In fact cooked some of Jerrys fish balls (white bass wraped in bacon) this weekend along side some fried crappie and some actually prefered the white bass.

The only other thing I could tell you is get some of the butter flavored crisco bricks in the oil section of wally world and cook some fish the next time your on the lake. A man cant get to much of this weather, days on the water and a fried fish shore lunch. The bricks are perfect size to pan fry some crappie filets and add a great flavor.

Gooch, thanks for the reply...I have Daryl's bacon wrapped recipe printed laying on my counter at home for some of them, have got TONS of people ready to try it, freezer is filling up super fast. I cannot eat them fast enough, guess I'm going to have to start eating them for breakfast too, and I like white bass/striper breaded with a light tobasco, my old Cajun roommate taught me that, thanks for suggestions, I'll check out Daryl's website and get some from there...what's the other website you are referring to? Thanks
