I have kept some pretty small fish, even by my standards, sometimes the river sodas skew your judgement.

I wish I woulda had a ruler, I might have had the winner in the dink contest, but I woulda been disqualified due to not releasing the fish (except in hot grease) due to hook in the gills.

Nothing at all wrong with that fish. I figure it will taste like crappie...or chicken. If I hook one that size in the gills, I won't hesitate to throw him in the cooler. Now that I think about it, if I hook him in the lips, tail, fins, or any other appendages...

That's one fish hungry dude right there.

Sorry for the delay, I had to put down my four legged best friend yesterday afternoon.

I want to start out by saying up to this meeting, we got our information from the same sources as you all, the newspaper. We met with Judge Hill at the construction site yesterday (5/30) at 9. The judge discussed what was being done to complete the project. He said their target date of completing the dam is August 31. We voiced our concerns about a couple of issues. The conversation then went to habitat. We are going to go out there one day and mark areas around the lake for habitat. They will place trees that were knocked down during construction in those marked areas. I then brought up opening the lake up to the public once the construction is complete to place habitat wherever they wanted too. The judge liked that idea and we will see if that happens. We really hope they allow people to do that.
