Thread: Afternoon on Clear Lake

Where do you put in on Clear Lake? By that house on 161? Is that public?

I've fished Clear a few times this year and haven't caught any yellow bass.

No yellow bass are not too bad, caught a few. crappie still have eggs in them. Not white looking, or gritty. Eggs still look good. Ithought they would have spawned out by now. water temp 70 degrees on top.

Yeah, that's where I always put in. Its private, but you put 5 dollars in the mail box and you can launch.

Nice pics Jerry! Bob and I caught a real nice box of fish here on Nimrod the other day before all the rain. We were spiderrigging jigs and minnows in about 8 FOW. Fish were scattered and spawned out but we moved around the lake a lot picking some up just about everywhere.
Here's a pic of a bass that my son Jeff caught at a local lake trolling a Pearl 200 Series Bandit.

9 LBS 1 OZ weighed on 2 different set of scales. Will hang it in the bait shop after I get through mounting it.
