They bit early today but slacked off as the day went on. 10-14' was the bit we found, fish fry is Sunday afternoon. We caught em on several different colors but the black/orange seemed to be best as it usually is for that lake. I was ready to get back on them over there, just sucks having to drive a little ways to catch fish. I wonder if it was just us or did anyone else notice an early bit that fell off as the day wore on today???

I'm still on the look for work myself dblevens need to find a job although catching all those crappie will spoil even a good man. The only bad part about today was my buddy who was cutting ribs out somehow managed to lose my case xx knife. I've got folks looking for it though, hope I get it back. It was a cool, cloudy day out there today that felt nice. We heard a turkey tearing it up in the distance that managed to make it through season and fishing with a good friend made it all the more better.
The bite seemed better this evening for us.

Good catch. Glad to hear that area is turning back on.
Now that was worth the drive. Nice catch! I myself had rather take fewer trips to good waters and folks who live so close to good waters dont know how lucky they are. Congrats on the day again!!!
