    Default Thursday 5-16......

Got back on the water yesterday for the first time in 3 weeks. Action was somewhere between slow and really slow for us but Joekiller and I managed 13 crappie from 12.5 up to 15 inches. I wish I had the same problem these fish have right now and thats that they are skinny!!! Think im going to give the crappie a break and go after some bream the next couple of trips.

Those are some nice fish. You may have the right idea. I'd like to get on a big bed of bream myself!

I see a new crappie hold being invented. The dual crappie thumbs up hold. I see a debate in the future about which is better, the Crappiepro, "Look ma no hands hold" with 4 crappie or the "Dual TU hold" with 2 crappie.

Nothing wrong with those post spawn Crappie. They should settle into a summer pattern real soon.
