I live in Mena at the moment. Preparing to move to Hot Springs Village.

She starts fine. But then she bogs down halfway into the throttle. I've checked my lines. I keep spare filters but they look good (I just love the gas now). My water intake and outflow is fine. I can only figure one of my carbs is gummed up.

That's what I figured. Makes a person cranky after babying her since she was my first brand new boat.

I hear ya. That's the only real problem with 2 stroke carb engines. If ya don't drain the bowls when ya put em up, they're gonna varnish. This ethanol phase separates too!!! It's like oil and vinegar.

Thank you for giving me a heads up. I've put in a few phone calls. I'll be taking her in later today or tomorrow. Everything else is packed up, why not the boat.

Call Ken's Marine in Hot Springs. He's not a Yamaha dealer, but is a good shop. And close to HSV.

It was mentioned before, but Riverside Marine in Scott. Tom Booth is THE MAN!!! I had trouble with a couple of guys in Sherwood, NLR, and LR. 1 guy called before I even got home saying it was done. When I took it out on the water the next day, I guess he had just sprayed a little carb cleaner in there, and called it good, and charged me a Ben Franklin for nothing.

I only go to Tom now, might take a couple days extra, but he is good... REAL GOOD.
