I was at Lake Conway last Monday and the parking lot at Palarm Landing was full. No wonder social security is in trouble. All of you working guys keep paying it in so I can get my monthly check.:biggrin:biggrin:biggrin:biggrin

I think that a lot of guys are working 12 hour shifts where they either have 3 or 4 days a week off. I did this for a few years and really liked it. Took the first day off just to rest up though. After 2 total knee replacements, hypertension, and now a heart valve problem, I'm retired/disabled now for about 2 years. When I feel good I fish but I prefer to go with someone verses going out alone. I fell out of the boat 3 times last year, but luckily had someone to help me get back in. I think it's time to invest in an automatic inflatable vest.
I sure wish some of the speed demon bass fisherman would work a little more.
Thursday this week............that was the day. Wouldn't dare go tomorrow (Friday).
And only hair-on-fire bass fishermen work, I think. Only way to support their helter skelter habit at $3.50 a gallon. (And do they even SEE us guys sitting boats when they whiz by, I wonder?)
No No they don't other than the guy who literally started to do a circle around me and my kids. I had to yell and ask what he needed and why he was so close. He ask if I was catching anything. Lol. Bass fishermen. Bahaha
Didn't you know that since Obama was elected you don't have to go to work? Just check the mailbox and that's how you get paid.
