    muddy water, white fish? I didn't know that. Guess there's lots I don't know about crappie.

    Seriously, does it work the other way too? Clear water, dark fish?

    I've caught some really dark fish in stained water.........heck........that's about all that I fish, now that I think about it. Don't do clear water much.

    General rule of thumb is, clear or shallow water=dark colors. Deep or muddy water=pale fish. Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule. The more light they get, the darker they will be.......normally..........I think.
