Default Clear water and Jig sizes

I've noticed in the Hot Springs Village Lakes, the water is pretty darn clear. Looking at my jig boxes today, it got me wondering about smaller jig sizes. I'm not familiar with clear water presentations. I've got molds down to 1/64. Can't say I've used 'em.

    Ideas? Suggestions?

I don't back off on jig size due to clear water. I might down size my line some. Fishing on Norfork, I still use 1/8 and 1/4 oz heads on anything over 10 feet.
My only real change would be color. I like a more neutral color in clear water or a very dark color ( motor oil as a neutral or black as a dark). Notice I said I prefer! Don't be afraid to try something new.

You mention going to more natural colors. How much does the body material (plastic, deer hair, marabou, etc.) play a factor to your size decision?

Does this include plastic and/or other materials, Nimrod?

I use plastics. Just like Nimrod, there's really no change from muddy to clear. I think the neutral colors are just for my ease of mind

I ask because I pour/tie a lot of my jigs. Plastics make up the remaining 30% of the arsenal.

Packing for this move, I cleaned out a "ton" of extra materials (tubs of deer hair, chenille, etc.). It's been my goal to focus on crappie. Just trying to make a plan for the new homewaters.

Those clear lakes beat me like a yard dog. I'm listening and trying to learn. Anyone who catches a fish in those clear water lakes I consider them slightly above professional level.

I fish Greers, which is getting back to being a clear lake, and I use bright color most of the time, pinks, oranges, reds, chartreuses, yellows.
