    Default Maps

Cell Phone Apps or Card for my Humminbird? I can see the need for one or the other or both since fishing Dardanelle the last few days.

Do both. It's a pain to watch your phone while fishing, but the phone app can help you pre fish and learn the lakes at home!!!!!

I'm hoping to have both as well soon. For now I study up on my phone before I leave!

I use Lowrance and the built in Insight is nice, but I bought the Navionics Premium card to add to that. With my HDS touch units, I can use both maps at the same time. The Insight has better detail of older cover like foundations, bridges, old creek and river channels, roadbeds, etc. the Navionics has much better contour detail like drop offs, ledges, humps, holes, flats, etc. If you don't use Lowrance you won't have Insight, so go with the Navionics.

BTW, if you have HB units, you can get the Lake Master cards, but I've never used those.
