    Default Double Limit Today

Unfortunately my limit this year is ONE.

    Today, I doubled that.

Do we have a Golf Thread? I may take it up. As for crappie fishing, this is like Rod Serling has a bead on me or something. I've never been this snakebit. Sort of losing interest. Didn't think I could even get away today, but did for a few hours. I should have stayed home and played with the baby's mama. (the baby is 36)

    Sheesh.

Don't feel alone me and dad got skunked today ourselves....Who know's where the crappie are doing now??? I figured they'd still be up shallow but we fished 4 big brushy coves and I know they'll bite blk/chart grubs but not today. We were thinking of trying a different lake later in the week and I may try some spider rigging out from the bank once we locate a few on the graph.

Buckrub you just need to hire a guide once to learn the ropes. Cheaper in the long run than a bunch of skunks.

I'd be willing to bet you would've struggled today on this lake as well.....This ain't Lake Nimrod I'll say that much. They was on the banks, steep banks but none the less they was on the banks. I know an older gentleman who fishes Dequeen all the time and even he has told me certain times of the year on these lakes he can't find fish. Considering he fishes nearly every day I'll take his word for it.
