Thread: Couple NE AR updates

Went 4-12 to Robinson Bay off Black River; what the heck happened? I have done well there in the past but we fished for 2 hrs and got 0 bites. It was cool early but warming up. Water temps were perfect. Water clarity was great too. We were really frustrated. Did it get too low last year?

Went 4-12 to craighead just to kill an hour or two before dark and caught two 13 inch crappie by accident! Got excited bc the lake is 10 mi. From my house. Went back this Sat more prepared and expectant and trolled all the same areas and caught 0 crappie but couldn't keep the small bass knocked off my lines. Any suggestions on where to focus at craighead? I'm going to go a couple evenings this week after work.

Let us know if you ever find any in Craighead. I've never crappie fished it, but have caught a few catfish out of it. I've heard there are nice crappie in it. Wish it was a good crappie lake. I could be in the water in 10 minutes from the house.
