    Don't make me go down there and catch a mess of fish. The biggest crappie I ever had in hand up until last weeks camp came from there. I didn't catch it. I haven't been there in years, but would be interested if the bream were doing good.

    My driveway is about 6 miles from the boat ramp ... The bream got hammered last year! Guys filln up coolers and haven people bring them another cooler... Thats what i heard anyway, from more than one source

    Dude!!! Let me know if you get to hearing any nasty rumors like that in the near future. I like to catch them line stretching little buggars.

    talked to the refuge manager today. he told me that they did do a count last tuesday, only in the open water. unfortunately they didnt hardly see a thing, but also wasnt able to get into the trees and check. he said that the oxygen levels in the water may have something to do with it, (no signs of dead fish floating thou). the fishing reports he was getting were a few crappie being caught but said that this might not be a good year for them. not many bream were being caught yet but he was optimistic about them.

    Did awesome on the bream there last year and they were big. We had several great trips. Hopefully they will be better than the nonexistent crappie have been this year.

    Last year was a great year. Most everyone did well. Ill try to keep everyone updated as i hear things. I really hope the lake turns around. Was really looking forward to the spawn this year!
