    Default Electric fillet knife

I've been looking at getting an American Angler or a Mister Twister Piranha. I think either one would be good. I've never used one with straight blades like the MT has, and was wondering if they work better.

My american angler stripped gears after one year so I just bought a new piranha. I prefer the straight blades. Just hope the piranha last longer than the angler did.

I was sadly disappointed in my pirahna. It ain't got the umph I was expecting after reading all the hype on it. Its not necessarily a bad knife, just not much better than the rest.

I am leaning towards the piranha. I think I will like the straight blades, but wasn't sure how well they would work. I have a berkley now, and its been a piece of junk since I bought it. Either one will be a better knife than it.

As long as it's as good as I've heard the2 are, I'll be happy. It has to be better than the Berkley. Anything over about a 9" crappie and it struggles to go through.

I have owned several different kinds and the American Angler has held up best for me, especially on larger numbers of catfish at one time. And yes I have had problems with them too but fewer problems.

I have and use the American Angler with metal gears. It has held up very nicely for the last 4 years. I dont plan on buying any other brand.

Get the American angler saltwater edition with the 11 inch shark blades. Saltwater edition doesn't have plastic gears. Those shark blades will zip through any fish I will eat. Even a buffalo.
