    Default I officially surrender

This time last year I was catching some crappie. Good ones. Not a limit every day, but a good catch most days.

I've now been almost everywhere I can go. River, Nimrod, Harris Brake, Piney, Brewer, Nimrod again, Harris Brake again, River again, Here, there, doo wah doo wah.

Today, I went to TWO lakes. Not a nibble on the first one. Went to Nimrod, it's flooded, fished up by the dam (for first time in years)......caught one. I guess one is my new limit.

Can't make Crappie Camp. Have family situation that won't let me get far from the house right now. Long story, just life.

But right now, I'm about ready to do something crazy.....like bream fish, or go work at deer camp, or clear shooting lanes at the farm.............or sleep all day. I see some folks catching them, so I know it can be done. But not the way I do it, clearly!!

Y'all slay 'em. I have printed off a lot of y'all's pictures and fried them in Peanut Oil and Cornmeal, with Cavenders. They are not bad, I'll tell ya'. So keep 'em coming.

At least the Cardinals are on TV!!!

Tonight might not be a good night to celebrate the fact that the Cardinals are on TV. This is shaping up to be an ugly game...

Nimrod fishing mostly slow unless your fishing yoyos. Dardanelle been hot with limits everywhere right now. Sorry your missing all the action. Just hope the cold and stormy weather does'nt shut off the bite at camp.

Dang BuckRub I looked forward to meeting you at camp...sorry about your luck and hope you can make it over to Dardanelle anyways. Miracles happen so hang in there. This little cold snap wont shut them down in my opinion and may even make em a little more frisky. Our biggest enemy at camp will be a Moonsoon that muddy's up everything. Then we will be in trouble with the bite.
