    Default Lake Charles dead fish?


    Hi everybody. This is my first post. I have enjoyed reading the forum and everybody seems nice. Anyway to the question...Has anybody heard about Lake Charles having a lot of the fish die recently. I heard there was a tournament recently and the biggest fish was like a pound bass. Has anybody heard this?

    We will be electrofishing the lake next Monday (4/15/13). I will let you know what we see. The lake temperature is a little cooler than normal for this time of the year so that is likely making the fishing a little difficult. We haven’t received any calls about died fish at the lake. We have received several calls about rumors that people have heard. None of these rumors have been true.

    I hope they are just rumors lol. My family and I camp and fish there a few times a year and really enjoy it. We have been going there since I was a baby. Looking forward as well to seeing what Mojorig reports. Lake Charles is one of those places you have to catch just right anyway.
