Default Noooooooo the freezer door is open!

I come home last night from work, thank god I needed a midnight snack!
The door to the upright deep freezer was cracked open!! I about puked!

Luckily ALL my fish was in a basket in the bottom of the freezer "colder down there" and was still frozen!

This happens often with the kids and whatnot... I have lost lots of deer meat in the past. I'm thinking a chest freezer would be safer!

I have an upright as well and I am paranoid about this happening. I never have had an incident yet and I pray I never do!

I have one upright that I have to make sure the lock is set before walking off. Another doesn't have a key so I have a few strips of duct tape on it.

I lost about 300#'s of catfish fillets along with several duck breasts, turkey breasts and bream fillets last June and I am still sick just to think about it. I put a hasp on top of the door so I don't have to use a lock and it cannot come unlatched unless I unlatch it.
