Looks like with the bases in your boat pedestals and seats would be easier to maneuver around while fishing?
The double downs are great, I have two buddies that have them.
It seems like every tournament we fish, or every weekend when I can fun fish, the wind blows like crazy, and I don't like wobbling around on a pedestal. The frame is twice as stable in rough conditions and doesn't make you feel as wobbly afterwards. Plus I can take the frame off the pedestal and put it exactly where I want it. Closer to the rack if a shorter person is with me, or farther away if they're taller. Left or right to adjust for the difference in a persons weight, etc. I can even put it on the rear deck when pulling cranks or long lining. Bottom line is the frames are much more versatile, and you don't have to drill holes in your boat if you don't have three across seating from the factory.
