Frogging lake Conway might just be one of the hardest places in the state to frog, between the Lilly pads and the floating gator grass the stumps and logs. If you try it watch your outboard close, I promise you will overheat it trying to get to the frogs, not to mention because of the vegetation and the difficulty of getting to the frogs they will go under the water on you from being spooked. I have tried to frog Conway on more than one occasion and it is right close to impossible.

Conway is way to busy for frogs.
I catch a few...
I always take a gig when I fish at night during the late spring through the summer. But have never brought home more than 4 probably... Enough to let the kids play with..

I grew up frog gigging every chance we got. We'd catch so many the "Cooler Man's" finger tips would be black and blue from the slamming lid. ROFL!!

We spend our summer days and nights on the AR river at our local swimming hole and I hear them hollering on the river banks.

Yep... The original mud motor.
If the boat will float, these will push it.
If it gets clogged with weeds.. Raise it out of the water, "wide open of course" give it a little shake and drop her back down.

Beaver dams and log jams...?

2 men with these 2 poles... A 12' boat is unstoppable!
