    Glen,

    Yes this is the town by Jonesboro, next to the St. Francis River.

    I don't know him personally but the ex GW would be Elvis Poe.

    I've only lived in Lake City a few years and I'm still learning my way around the river.

    Nobody is doing much in the bar pits yet. They were completely dry back in the winter but have been flooded by the river since. I'm not sure how the fishing is going to be.

    Right now it looks like everyone from this area is going across the bridge to catch a mess of slabs.

    I'm going to try either Poinsett or Hogue again this weekend...

    Thanks Tony. If you see Elvis around please tell him that Glen Mathis said hello. I see him fairly often at Maddox Bay landing because I stay there often for fishing and hunting. I was hoping to find a good crappie hole near Jonesboro so I could visit relatives who live near there while I was over there fishing.
