    Default Rained All Day

Me and Coolerfull went to Enid yesterday. Even though it rained all day , we had a great trip. We spider rigged minner critter and they tore them up. I had doubles 2 times. Been a long time since that happened. I think we ended up with 26 by lunch. Clint cooked hamburgers for me and my dad. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1364733981.652849.jpg

Great job, Billy! Congrats on a successful trip! I'm just getting into spider rigging and have what may be a dumb question though.......why are there no reels on those rods? Great job, and thanks for the post and the pics.
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!

Hey Ski - I use little plastic reels when I troll. Very seldom am I fishing in water deeper than 15' most of the time its 10 and under. These reels are light and stay out of my rod holders. When I fish by myself, after hook set I move the handle and reel portion of my rod to the back of the boat and most of the time ends up in the water. It will float. May have to rerig for spring camp. They should be shallow.
