I have only been there once. it was about a month ago and was asking about a price on a used 2008 alumacraft he had in the lot. He quoted me a price 500 over msrp on a brand new 2013 of the same make. I just laughed at him and walked out the door.

I took an old 9,9 in there and it cost me $35 for him to tell me it was locked up, and he didn't do a thing to it. And Gladish ...well, I didn't have a chance to get to it, I'll have it done next week. Props plus, they welded my boat up last year. Had it done when they said they would, and didn't rob me blind doing it.

Camptown is over priced on everything and Gladish will not be receiving any more of my business. I recommend Current River Marine in Doniphan, MO.

My biggest problem with Gladish Marine, I bought a brand new yamaha 25 there, and I traded a messed up Mercury in on it. He told me the yamaha didn't come with a prop, and charged me $300 for a stainless prop for my new motor. Then I figure out that my old prop would have worked on it, because they use the same prop. I should ad that he gave me $300 for my motor, so technically, I bought his prop and freaking gave him my motor with an identical prop, only used. I feel raped.

Ouch, I'd say they got you pretty good. You live you learn though. Always people out there looking out for their best interest not yours!

Bought a 25 etec from current river marine in doniphan. Absolutely the best price and service around. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We set up a date to work and they take care of me while I wait. Of course nothing major yet just small service problems. Keep stopping up with trash.

The guy on the bank of the Black river in Pocahantus did me right when I was up there (if he's stillin business).

I was sad that Eugie went out, too bad he moved from town to Brookland.

Eugie is out period. Hate that he was an awesome boat guy.
