    Default Spinner or not?

I was wondering, if you were gonna throw a jig for crappie, do you use a spinner. I like a curley tail jig.

I've went both ways but I like the added flash of a smaller spinner on myself when I'm hitting the banks or even slow cranking out deeper.

With an ultralight rig nothin' beats throwing a sickle 'runner with a Stroll'r! Even floating them under a cork and dragin them across the shallows is fun this time of year.....

It is a Roadrunner (ponyhead) with a sickle hook. We like to dress them with a curly tail like the Bobby Garland Stroll'r. We like the willow leaf blade in both polished brass or chrome.....

We use them from spring until fall. They don't seem to work as well when the water's real cold. #1 with a 1/16 oz. I've caught a lot of fish on them over the years. You never know what you'll catch. I've caught BIG bass and catfish on them.

I took my little girl with me the other day. I tied her on a road runner so she could chunk and reel. I was jigging around a dock and she tried her hand at it with that road runner. She got bit a couple of times when I did not.
Makes you wana tie one on that jiggin pole...
