Here with cold front and falling water we move deeper, fish slow, tight to cover close to the bottom.

and wanted to fish this Sat near Jonesboro despite the horrible weather forecast, where would you recommend and how would he fish? I am primarily a verticle jig fisherman and don't have a good set up yet for trolling so I am limited to single pole methods. But, I have never really fished much with water and air temps this cold. I hear and read all the time people can still catch crappie in winter and cold weather; I want to try I guess. How should I approach this Sat. differently?
thanks guys; let the advice flow
no matter what I'm doing, I've got hunting or fishing on my mind...

Stay home and watch fishing shows on tv. That's how I do it. And fry up some fish caught earlier. Save gas for better weather.

awh, can't be that bad out there (he said as he dug for his hunting coveralls, hand warmers, and pancho). My dad and I are hell bent it seems on fishing Sat. My dad is pretty set on fishing Lake Ashbaugh; anybody have a report from there recently?
