Bill, the station is 8 feet long, 27 inches deep, 32 inches of cutting board on each side of the sink, and the top of the table is exactly 42 inches tall. Guy in the neighborhood had remodeled his kitchen and was gonna throw the old deep, porcelain double sink away and I offered to dispose of it for him. I had wanted a cleaning station for a long time, so I just found the time to do this. All the lumber in it is treated. The whole thing was probably less than $75, but I believe it will be here as long as I'm fishing and cleaning fish! I really wanted to route water into the sink, but it turned out to be more of a problem than I wanted, so I just use a garden hose. Can't taste it in the fish!!! LOL

I'm using a stainless steel restaurant prep table with a plastic cutting board. I don't clean a ton of fish. I only clean enough to eat for the next week or so. BTW, I use a Dexter-Russell carbon steel fillet knife from the seventy's which is kept razor sharp and works better than any electric knife I have ever used.

Stainless steel vat from the dairy I grew up on, & a piece of UHMW food grade plastic. 5 gallon bucket for guts to be hauled off.

I just built a cleaning station, its 10.5'X12' on a concrete pad..its all pipe construction, heavy as the dickens, rtark and I built the table itself, its all treated wood with a 5'X2' top of formica..it works really well. It sure helps on cleaning after dark with the florscent light suppended about the table.....

I use an academy stand up cutting board with the hole for guts but I am getting spoiled here at blue mountain using the corps cleaning station. I may build something when I get home.

    Hey Don,

How about posting a pic of that bad boy? I'm getting ready to add a lightweight roof over mine and a light. Tired cleaning fish in the rain and dark!
