    I still fish that way every day. I do have a hand held trolling that work most of the time, no DF at this time. I just got me something other than a cane pole. when my dad died I got his old green pole with the line up the center of them. I did buy a ozark because the tip on the old green ones broke off.
    All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.

    I can remember my dad taking me crappie fishing with a cane pole, length of line... the balsa wood slinder type bobber, splitshot and a minner. I was just amazed when I got my first ole Green face Johnson Spinning reel...Man I could reach out and touch them then. AND when I first learned about slip bobbers it was ON!!! with no turning back Ohh the Good Ole days. Sure Miss them.

    Your making me feel old. But I dont think I could sit on that hard boat seat all day anymore.
