    What happens if you alternate directions of the rods? that way you have a tip, then a butt, then a tip? I don't use em, so I'm definitely no expert. Love the boat man.

    Handles only fit one end.

    How do you like the jet Motor. What size is it do you have enough power?

    Love it its a 115 etec top end 40 mph with two people in four inches water. The only problem is big water it doesn't like waves. The key to buying a jet is when you think you are buying to much motor get the next one up. I learned this hard and expensive way.

    I've got a 40hp Johnson jet and am told you lose about 30% of your power (speed). Friend in North Arkansas has one he calls a "40-30". Not sure, but I think he's saying it's a 40hp that generates the power of a 30hp???? Maybe some jet experts on here who can .
    My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!

    The simple way to do this is to give me all your rods then you can go buy a set of shorter stiffer rods. I would be will to help a brother out if you wanted to do this. It's how I roll.
