Thats cool!! Just wondering what all options will be if i come fish that tourney
Oh, I see...
I figure a lot of the locals will be fishing the cove...
I also figure a lot of the locals will not place very well...
The gold creek area, and the docks and piers all over the lake produce many many limits every week.. But I don't think they are going to produce fish to win this tournament.
The lake holds the biguns!
But get ready for some long days....
Not sure if this is single pole or not..
If so I'd betcha the cypress groves will win this one.
If spider riggin is legal, I would betcha someone is gona drag the channels and win it.
But hey! I've been wrong before!

Thanks.. I know nothing about the lake, so the groves and "what not" doesnt really tell me nothing. I know i wont win it, just want to fish some new water and possibly weigh 7 fish. Dock fishn is my thang, so its good to know its a option
So if im lookn at google earth, how would i tell the gold creek area. I dont see that labeled
I think you are right. Them big mamas will be staging in the channels near timber.

All over the lake there a cypress trees.
They are everywhere, little patches here, big patches there... Single tree here and there.
Some hold fish and some don't! But when you catch em..... They ain't no babies!
But they seem to be few and far between.

Northwest arm of the lake where it forks. Caney Creek is at the extreme northern end of the west arm and Gold Creek runs due West from the main lake point.
