What color of nibble are you guys using? i've tried the chartruese ones a few times and couldn't tell that they made any difference but if they're CP approved, i might have to give them another go!

    I got some.

I can't make them stay on the hook for more than 3 seconds, so I don't know if they work or not.

They do make my ugly carpet prettier, though.

I like chartreuse as well as the glitter colors, gold and silver. But as I said, I haven't noticed a big difference so take it or leave it. My wife sure eyes me kinda funny when I come home with glitter all over my face though!

If i have a jig on its got a nibble on it plain and simple. I have found that the glitter ones dissolve in the water better than chart. and like CP i believe they follow that trail and sent. The one thing I noticed when fishing heavy cover is they help with the hook point in not sticking everything as bad.

I use them a lot, white only, never glitter. I have seen no nibbles out fish nibbles and vice versa. There was a long thread about this a couple months ago on here, it's a good read. In that thread I tried to make the point, illustrated by several examples, that it may not be the nibble or minnows that actually make a difference..... It's more about your mindset, meaning if you have confidence in something particular, like a nibble, that will out fish all other baits you use a majority of the time. This is because you are confident in what you are doing, this leads to more concentration, more deliberate fishing. IMO that is what separates baits most of time, that is the only thing that accounts for the human factor.

I inject the nibbles inside the tube using a 3 cc syringe. For 1, it increases the size of the jig, making it a bigger snack. 2, it adds a "flavor" to the bait, making them hold on longer, long enough to get hooked.

Now this is just my opinion, and after saying that, I still catch fish even if I forget to inject my nibbles.

BTW, I only use chartruse nibbles.

The Platnium or silver metal flake are with out a doubt my favorite...be fore warned you will look like tinker bell flew around your face if you not careful. But they work for me...I then like white, then Chart metal flake or Chart. For me years of fishing Conway and 100's of limits posted should be proof enugh that they do work. Its pretty simple which are you going to eat most likely and chew on longest...something that taste like a Tbone steak or a piece of plastic/metal or hair. I am taking the thing that taste like a T-bone. LOL

Carol used them on bream and it was the difference between catching and not catching. They are pretty good in coffee also.

I love em during the winter when the fish aren't as aggressive , but that is the only time if year I use them!
