    Default boom and a bust

This past Wed. was the boom. Put in on Beaver around nine and had a nice limit by eleven. Caught most of the fish on orange and chartrse. jigs in water from six to fourteen foot deep. Now for the bust, covered some of the same areas yesterday and only caught eight. It was pretty windy. While I called it a bust, not really, I enjoyed Gods great creation, and eagerly waited for that next thump. In addition, since moving to NW Ar. we have really met some nice people a lot of them on the water.

Way to go, Richard! Some days are chicken, and some days are feathers! But remember my motto, "A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work!"
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!

Some days a diamond, some days a stone.

Some days you're the hammer, some days you're the nail.

Every day I wake up on this side of the grass, I thank God and then I either A) go fishing or B) sit wistfully wishing I was going fishing or C) prepare somehow to go fishing next time.

You live in some wonderful country and near some of the best lakes in the state. If everyday was a boom, it would get boring.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.
