    Default Jig Head questions

Did some searching but there's about a jillion posts plus I want you guys' opinions. Would like to know:
    1. Where you buy
    2. What size hooks you use for 1/16, 1/8, etc heads for tube jigs and baby shad
    3. If painted, favorite color combos
    4. Anything else you'd like to share

    Thanks!

Jasons Tackle Home Page, I like the 1/16 with a #4 sickle hook, or the 1/32 with a #6. I paint em Black, Chartruse, or Pink most of the time. That pink head works really well with a Lime Green body and a yeller tail.

Tommy Crenshaw (TCI on ebay stores), pretty good prices. Tell him that you seen him on Crappie.com usually gives me good discounts.

I prefer yellow chart heads, 1/16 oz round head, #4 sickle hook, or #2 regular hook, red or bronze hhoks.

    Dan at gold creek .
    1/32, 1/16
    Pink, orange, black,
Hooks are larger than most, not sure the size..

These are high quality.. You will loose it before you wear it out or scratch the paint.

fishhunter775 He is from Murfreesboro and a member here. He had a website, but I think it's down. I normally just go to his eBay store. Always has fast shipping and his prices are good. Excellent product, as well as a lot of options.

I normally get 1/16 with a #2 black nickel sickle hook. Also have some 1/8 with same hooks. I like this hook cause it isn't prone to rusting and the sickle hooks are sharper than anything else on the market.

Most of my heads I powder coat pink, chartreuse, or silver. Although I've always got a few in a wide variety of other colors.

X2 for Jasons Tackle, Jasons Tackle Home Page
I order everything from this guy...he will mail either the day you order or next day and gets it to you quick...all of his stuff is cheaper than elsewhere and has done me well. He has an ebay shop too.

I like the 1/16th mushroom head with the #2 hooks...perfect setup for stingers
I buy the Pro-Tec powder paint from Basspro in pink but a lot of times you can just do without paint.

Meatgetter also sells jigs. I like 1/16 oz with #2 hook and pink color. Never ordered from jason tackle but after viewing there 2 inch grub prices i will pass. They are $5.75 and grizzly jig 3.99 for pack of 50. Definitely shop around.

Pink, orange, #2 hook or sickle hook. Do for get to fine tune it.

Jasonstackle is definitely high on his jigs, but his service and prices on jigheads are right there at the top.
