    Default Tip of day 5

I will try to make this as clear as can. I used a white string to represent my fishing line, the yellow ruler to represent water line and the piece of lead the bottom.

This is a technique i use often when finesse fishing spawning.

I use a cork with a spring on the bottom. The size is about 6 inches in length.

I like the longer narrow cork as it will provide more vertical movement of the jig in the water column. I use a small piece of plastic tubing to tun my line through to the attach to the top of the bobber stem.

When the jig is at maximum depth the cork is vertical

When u pull on the cork a little it lays flat on the water raising the jig in the water column about 3-4 inches depending on size of cork.

Allow slack and jig goes right back down. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362246593.947844.jpg

This is a way to vertical jig in the water column from a distance with a cork. Many a crappie have succumb to this technique.

    Hope you get the point.
