Most of the lake back then was in cotton. or the Shiloh and Higden part were. Several cemeteries, and train ran around it.

Great old picture. I wonder what the catch would have looked like if they had the equipment and technology we have now? I think I would trade the technology for the simpler lifestyle that has been lost. Slackline

well, they prolly WERE hungry .... big families and hard work , fish was fish. And enjoyed every bite.
