All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.

Gotta watch that river Gin....use a lotta, I mean lotta weight to keep it in there. I dont' even sink much up in the river channels of the lakes due to that.....We've had it wash out before during a big rise. Now you can hand brush which seems to be a great thing to do. Pick out some already there, solid structure, stump say, and cut big bushy limbs or smaller trees. Tie the weight in the top of it and tie the butt of your brush to the stump as far down as you can reach up stream side then mother nature will wash all kinda junk in there beside it next big rise. I'd use heavy cord or cable also to keep it there, just an idea.
As for the culling that's about the limit, 10" and larger to make the team. I like em kinda small but not too small. Those 11" crappie you can get the grease really hot and bout as soon as you drop em pull em right back out not sure why but fast cooking them like that seems to make them better, maybe it's just because i'm ready to eat usually.
