Buckwheat finds out you done went and bought some meatgetters, you're gonna be in big trouble. Least you won't have to worry about the grinnel as much this year.

Everyonce in a great while it does a person good to hook into a ginnel for health purposes. You know they can get the heart rate to jump from 70bpm to over 100bpm until they come to the top. It's kinda like jogging for the fisherman.

I believe Spanky is 129. However, I personally tie buckwheat. It has never caught a crappie but can flat wear out the trash fish. It will out fish Spanky 2 to 1 catching drum, grinnel, carp, buffalo, and catfish. With Spanky you will be too busy taking off crappie to really get into the trash fish, while with buckwheat, you don't have to mess with the crappie. I will tie you some for $9.00 per jig.

Buckwheat is a sleeper bait that works on them slabs and everything else. I could not afford to buy them, Glad I get mine free. Keep a spare on my Crappie.com hat, afraid a fish will run off with it everytime it blows out of the boat.
