    SUPPER!

RCC, first time I ever fished the cove at Nuke 1, at noon (I had no clue what time it was) the siren went off. Big time.

Me and my fishing partner liked to have walked across the lake to get out of there. Turned out it was just Lunch Time for the workers. Geez.

    P.S.
That day, we sunk our boat.......big waves came up, we got 2 feet from shore and PLOP, down it went. We waded in, pulled and tugged (we were MUCH younger) and got it on shore. Drained the water, waited till dark when wind quit, and luckily the motor started and we went home! Wet puppies, but made it out.

I think they test emergency sirens at noon daily

    Yeah. I thought THAT, too.

Didn't keep my sphincter muscle from going into total hibernation, I'll tell ya. That was ONE eerie feeling at that time.

And you know........we NEVER caught any crappie to speak of in that cove. We caught a ton of 2-5 lb stripers, on crappie poles, though.
