water temps are coming up nicely in oxbow lakes in central AR, not sure where you are, but I have been catching fish lately even on cold days. Wind might be a challenge though.

As far as I am concerned any day is a good day to go fishing. That said, I am fairly new to crappie fishing, and wondering what you all think this weather is going to do to the fishing. A friend of mine is coming in from Mississippi and we were going to fish Sunday, but he has to be back earlier than expected so it looks like we are fishing Saturday.

You Can Make a Difference!
Fish we have noticed are starting to move up we have been catching a majority of our fish 4-8' deep instead of 20-30' in the past months

Well, I am going to give it a try. I was planning on going to Wattensaw but think I am going to have to stick closer to home. I will most likely go out on Little Maumelle. Out there you can usually find a place out of the wind. Appreciate the info that fish are biting, and I will be sure to try some shallower water as well.
Good luck! Post up some results and picks.

Good luck fish this weekend. I don't thing our outside weather effect the fish as much as it dose us. It take a lot of cold weather to drop the water temp. Now when the air drops it don't take us very long for us to get our coat.
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.
