My take on it was that Fox did an unbiased statement of both sides of the argument. They didn't seem to cater to the Lake Conway POA or the other way around. It should at least get some people to educate themselves about the issues.

Thanks for the link. I fell a sleep before it came on.

POA's ain't never good for rednecks. Just ask Jase Robertson on Duck Dynasty.

The community where my son lives formed an association. Mostly to have the lake front kept up. Since living there, you had to pay the $35. per year fee. First they take the concrete ramp out. Then no more gas engines on the water. If you have a trolling motor on the boat, someone has called you in for having a motor on the lake. It's a motor, some people don't know the difference. They want paddle boats only now. I use to see a team of yard workers out. Weedeaters, push mowers and small lawn tractor cutting around the lake. They bought a large tractor with a bushhog. I know you can't cut lake fronts with a tractor. The fee has gone to over $100 per year. Grass gets knee high before the tractor is brought back to cut. You can't walk the bank because of the ruts.
    Don't vote for an association.
