Had to go back home this weekend to do some stuff. I took a couple spinning rods and my crappie stuff in case I had some time to fish our farm ponds. Saturday morning I had some time and went. It was cold and the wind was howling but apparently the bass were hungry. I was trying to catch some crappie out of the ponds but couldn't keep the bass off of my jigs. I fished a couple ponds and caught 40+ bass and a few crappie, its been a while since I fished the ponds and it was a blast. I caught several real good bass but this fat cow made the day and she put up quite a fight on my light tackle.

That was a heck of a day!

I enjoy fishing small ponds like that.
